Power is too much for some!
Posted On: Aug 10, 2016

This message is for the members who are afraid of their manager. The manager has been around for many years running the business with fear in most of the workers at the job-site. This manager has developed a HOSTILE WORKING ENVIRONMENT!!!  Local 272 members have witness unwanted sexual teasing, jokes, remarks, sexual comments, viewing neck massages, touching an person's clothing, (uniform) hanging around that person (co-worker) most of the day, taking said person to lunch, and driving places while worker is on the clock. I spoke to this manager about his actions in the early part of June 2016. He denies the union's allegations knowing that, not one of the employees/member who informed myself of these activities, would come forward. He's right so far, I have reported him to the compaines H.R. reps. without revealing the names of the workers who have stated the above. It's heresay until one worker comes forward the company will not conduct an investigation. (I have heard the complaints from serveral of our members, when they were at work, or when they were at home and able to speak freely.... They all feel, nothing would happen to this manager because he's been employed there for over 20 years. This manager is a sneakie person, never sincere. I've been a union rep. for nearly 26 years, have attended many Labor Law session in Miami, Fla., Baltimore, MD., Las Vegas, NV. Detroit, MI., heading to San Francisco, CA. in September 2016, just to name a few. I don't plan to stop investigating this case. I need you workers to come forward.....Stop being afraid, the company is aware but you are preventing them from taking a stands. You can call a female, or male Human Resourse person to speak with. I'm here for you whenever you come forward. You would be free of the stess. The whole unit is effective....This union stands behind you.....I will not stop, he should resign now before he's exposed to the world.
